Press release: Pinpoint Marketing is the baby of director, Nicole Martin who set up on her own back in May 2008 after a successful corporate career in marketing. Nicole became self-employed for many reasons including a better work life balance as she is a mother of two as well as being disillusioned by the larger marketing corporates who often do not have the smaller customer or the smaller business in mind. They offer what they offer rather than getting to know the customer and supplying what they need, when they need and how they need it. This after all is what marketing is about, supply and demand.
Over the last 10 years, Nicole has hit many milestones for herself (including growing as a business person and participating in a Race for Life and a Muddy Race for Life) and the business as well as on behalf of her many Bucks based customers. She has helped hundreds of local businesses to start up, plan, grow and achieve their business goals and dreams. Many of these clients have been with Pinpoint for almost 10 years too. Amongst the many clients, a wonderful local childhood cancer-based charity is also included, of which no fees are charged as this is a charity and disease that is close to owner Nicole’s heart. Nicole said “being my own boss is the ideal scenario for me, from a work life balance and also because I can do what the client needs and help them in a bespoke and personalised way each time, without being answerable to someone high up who doesn’t have their finger on the pulse. I always have their best interests at heart and it is because of my work ethic, my wide network of connections and my passion for marketing that Pinpoint and I have stayed the distance”.
Nicole has also been nominated for awards and helped her clients be nominated, be seen and win! She is also published and regularly presents business talks to local groups. Nicole is also a local, prolific networker with Athena and Bucks Business First and she is very passionate about supporting local business, working mums and entrepreneurs.
So much has changed over the time that Pinpoint Marketing has been lucky enough to have been trading from Google, SEO, social media, the introduction of GDPR and the advancement of technology. Pinpoint has very much kept up with these changes, including recently launching an online training course, and advises and supports clients to do the same with their journeys.
Pinpoint Marketing has even sponsored the kit for a local football team (Holmer Green FC) whom her son plays for. With many new clients coming on board on a regular basis, the future is looking bright for Pinpoint and long may it continue.
