We ran a survey on LinkedIn recently saying I would love to know my network’s thoughts, and potential plans, for a marketing strategy for your business. I asked will you be creating and writing a Marketing Plan for your b2b business for 2022? 50% said yes they had done it or almost done it and 50% said they were going to start creating one in January. I am not sure why some leave things to January as a plan can be started at any time of the year, but each to their own. If you are considering a plan for 2022, read this blog.
What has 2021 taught us business wise?
It has shown me and many of my clients that we are, and we can be resilient. Running a business isn’t easy at the best of times but with a global pandemic to contend with personally, health wise, business wise and mentally, then we have all done a great job to remain afloat. With lockdowns and the economy, changes to purchasing patterns and the ways we run and market our businesses all changing, no wonder we have all felt a little frazzled at times. This article from HubSpot has some great marketing stats from 2021. With the Christmas break upon us, whatever such a break looks like, enjoy the downtime, rest and relax and recharge for 2022.
Pinpoint’s year like everyone’s I am sure, has had its ups and downs. We have got some great enquiries in from our referrals and network and from the website too. We have added new packages including brainstorming hours and guides and templates too. We are working on a rebrand for the business too. We have worked with some great clients too, on some great projects, from marketing plans, to consultancy and to retainer work and we are very grateful to our network for the support, kindness, referrals and much more.
So what might 2022 bring?
Hopefully better health for us all and a smoother start to the year than this one. Conversations I am having with clients in terms of what they are asking me and what they say they are needing in their business, keywords and topics that are coming up are automation, lead magnets, sales funnels and pipelines.
